This project involved updating the SFMOMA logo and creation of an 18”x24” fold out mailer for an upcoming show. For the logo, I did not stray too far from their current logo and kept the linear look and feel and used a sans serif font.
Earlier ideas played to the “O” and associating it back to the window located in front of the museum.
For the poster/mailer, since the logo was a prominent characteristic on the informational side, I attempted to utilize that look and feel throughout, with informational importance dictated by size.
