Sorry about the lack of updates. Between work, the other 100%’er, and now school, I haven’t made any time to properly care for this blog. My bad. I’m still heavy in the mix, it’s just that the stuff I’m doing can’t be shown or doesn’t deserve to be. In the meantime, here are some pages from my sketchbook:

About a week ago, I came across Sketch Swap. It is what it sounds like – you draw a sketch and you get one in return. What makes it cool is that you get to view the entire process of the sketch you receive! I used about 20 minutes of today on it. Here’s the best one I got back:

When summer began, I applied for an art staff position at soon to open Blue Sky Family Club in Emeryville. While I didn’t end up taking the position, I somehow managed to make enough of an impression that they requested me to do some of their building graphics. Point of this post, heights suck, but not enough for me to not suck it up and get the job done. Yes… this graphic is easily 25+ feet high!
Apologies for not being better with my updates. I’m slowly working on this picture, but I fully expect the next post to be the final. This one can be clicked for a higher res. Peace.
Just some more cleaning up
Just some rough colors to help generate ideas. Not sure if I’m gonna try to make this a Photoshop painting or doing some vectorish Illustrator pic. I hate thinking of the possibility of both.
